COURSE AND ASSESSMENT REQUIRMENTS
Anyone looking to improve their skills or employability may undertake these courses.
However the Government set assessments may only be undertaken by people over 18 years of age who have proof of identification.
Since the 1st July 07, some workplace experience is also required before the Government set test can be undertaken. The workplace experience has to be documented – a logbook and training plan needs to be completed and signed off by a licenced supervisor.
Students attending the course without a training plan and logbook will be provided with both during the course at no extra cost. Our trainers will explain how these need to be completed to ensure that the legal requirements are met.
As soon as the require workplace experience has been gained the may return to us for the practical and final assessment that is required to obtain the actual licence.
The satisfactory completion of all this may allow a person to qualify for a Government issued nationally recognised licence that we apply for on their behalf. (Please see our "Student Handbook” on our home page for further information)
